Ross McCallum Joins as Head of Sales

Arteva is pleased to announce the appointment of Ross McCallum as Head of Sales, effective 20 May 2024.

In this new role within our Executive Leadership Team, Ross will be responsible for leading the national sales team, driving key partnerships, and contributing to the formulation and execution of the our growth strategies.

Ross brings with him over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, within both the Australian and UK markets. Most recently, Ross led the New South Wales sales team at Ansvar. He has also held key leadership and distribution roles with the Network Insurance Group, Chubb and Allianz.

Commenting on Ross’ appointment, our Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Gronert, said, “We’re excited to welcome Ross as a leader to our team. Ross is well-respected within the industry for his ability to build strong partnerships and lead successful sales teams. As we continue to grow, these skills will undoubtedly contribute to our overall success.”

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Ross said, “Through my experience, I’ve witnessed firsthand that Arteva sets the benchmark high when it comes to culture, service delivery and industry reputation. I’m looking forward to leading such a dynamic team of sales professionals across the country.”

Damien Moore, Senior Business Development Manager, New South Wales

Damien is an experienced National Sales and Relationship Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Skilled in business strategy, leadership, sales management, people management, team management strategic planning, business development and negotiation, Damien is a strong sales professional with a well-respected reputation. Damien holds a Bachelor of Business Administration – BBA focused in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Southern Cross University.

Adam Joyce, Business Development Manager, Queensland

Adam joins us from iQumulate Premium Funding where he was responsible for the Regional Queensland portfolio. Originally from Melbourne and now based in Brisbane, Adam has built a strong network of brokers over the last four years which he looks forward to continuing to service in his new role. Adam joins Bernie Van Altena, Briana Phillips and Savannah Lindley to create a strong presence in Queensland.

Michelle Martion, Business Development Manager, Western Australia

Michelle joins us from Blue Zebra as an experienced, client centric BDM with a strong understanding of the sales process, generating leads and building strong long-term relationships. Michelle has a proven track record exceeding sales targets along with a solid business network which enables her to develop and grow business opportunities.

Daniella Pietrosanti, Senior Business Development Manager, Victoria and Tasmania

Beginning in premium funding with Oamps back in 2002, Daniella has enjoyed a career in the industry spanning over two decades. Originally in a processing role, Daniella progressed to becoming a BDM with Centrepoint Alliance around 16 years ago and never looked back. Daniella’s extensive network of brokers across the Southern states is a testament to her ability to build strong and lasting relationships.

Sharon Flaherty, Senior Business Development Manager, Victoria

Sharon is an experienced BDM within the financial services industry. Skilled in business planning, sales, management, account management, and leadership. Sharon is a strong finance professional and ANZIIF graduate.

Reeta Yadev, Business Development Manager, Victoria

Dohn Demarte, Business Development Manager, Victoria

Dohn is a highly organised and experienced BDM with solid knowledge of financial services industry. Dohn thoroughly enjoys meeting new people and developing authentic relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Deborah Downes, Sales Support Officer, National

Deb has enjoyed a successful and rewarding career in insurance broking and insurance premium funding over the last 20 years.  She is enthusiastic, highly motivated, with a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed expectations.  Deb is an experienced Inside Sales Representative and someone you can rely on to work with you with for the best results.
